February 2

happy groundhog day.  and happy snowpocalypse snow day.  when i left work yesterday, knowing with the forecast that we'd probably be off today, i brought a bunch of work home to do.  but so far, i've spent my day with my new christmas scanner, scanning my first roll of 120 film (that i shot with my diana camera nearly a year ago and just got processed this week).

all i have to say is "wow."  i completely love them all.  i had 9 shots out of the 12 on the roll come out at all - some are a bit goofy looking, but i still love them.  it didn't occur to me until the very last one, though, to not crop out the film markings.  and, as it takes close to15 minutes per image to scan the film, i opted against going back and redoing them all.

but this is what i got.  love love love...

aside from a little dust removal (and the aforementioned cropping of the film borders) no photoshop was involved.  diana images are just beautiful...
